Artist Bio


Alicia Serling is a mixed media artist with an emphasis on concept and exploration of the medium. Some of her past works have been inspired by the history of language and communication. Additionally, Alicia has explored the new gendered gaze via social media. She allows herself to explore each new concept and medium accordingly.


Alicia earned her BFA in General Fine Arts with a Concentration in Curatorial Studies from Maryland Institute College of Art.


In addition to her fine art practice, she also works on handmade surface designs and patterns that can be found in her Society6 store. Concurrently, she is available for commissioned design work.


She currently resides in Northern California.
